What causes low libido?
In the body
- Hormonal imbalances like low testosterone or estrogen

- Medication side effects or chronic illness
- Relationship issues or body image concerns
Often it's a mix of both, and both sides are treatable. The right tests tell us which it is, so nothing is guesswork.

Is low sexual desire normal?
It can be common and is often temporary, especially during stress or hormonal changes.
What kind of therapy helps with this issue?
Cognitive-behavioral therapy and couple's counseling are commonly effective.
Do you treat women and men at your clinic near MG Road?
Yes, we treat all genders and tailor the care accordingly.
Can stress or medications cause low desire?
Yes, stress, medication side effects, and relationship factors can all contribute.
Is this a permanent condition?
Not usually. Most people improve significantly with therapy and medical support.
Can I book a visit from nearby areas?
Absolutely, we regularly see patients from HAL 2nd Stage, Jeevanbheema Nagar, Ulsoor, CV Raman Nagar and surrounding MG Road localities.
Is low desire a medical or emotional issue?
It can be either or both. Therapy helps identify and address the core reasons.
Can this affect my relationship?
Yes, but therapy supports honest conversation and connection-building.
Is this condition more common in women?
Yes, but it affects people of all genders and is very treatable.
Will my therapist tell me what's wrong?
They'll guide you to understand your emotions, history, and patterns-not judge you.
Is low desire normal with age?
Desire changes with age, but a clear drop that bothers you or your partner is worth checking, it often has a fixable cause like hormones, sleep or mood.
Will testosterone injections fix it?
Only if your testosterone is actually low, which a simple blood test confirms. Taking testosterone without need can cause real harm, including affecting fertility.
