About Me
Hello, I’m Zaheen Saifi, a Counselling, Corporate, and School Psychologist with over 3 years of experience in mental health and emotional wellbeing. I completed my B.A. in Psychology in 2021 and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology in 2023 from Dr. DY Patil University, Pune.
I started my professional journey as a Psychology Intern at Fortis Mental Healthcare, Delhi in 2021, where I gained exposure to emotional regulation, group therapy, crisis support, and stress management. From January 2022 to May 2023, I worked as a Psychology Intern at Advait Mindwin Clinic, Pune, assisting in assessments, documentation, and supervised counselling. I also worked as a Rehabilitation Intern at I Am Fine Foundation in 2023, supporting adolescents and adults in emotional recovery and behavioural rehabilitation.
Since May 2023, I have been working as a Counselling, Corporate, and School Psychologist at Advait Mindwin Clinic, Pune. Over the years, I have conducted more than 600 counselling sessions for adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, burnout, anger issues, and relationship concerns.
My therapeutic approach includes CBT, DBT, ACT, and REBT, along with mindfulness practices, trauma-informed care, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy. I hold certifications in Art Therapy, NLP Master Practitioner, Counselling Skills, Suicide Prevention Training, Positive Psychology, and Rorschach Inkblot Test Training. I also have specialised training and practical experience in CBT, REBT, and DBT-based interventions.
In addition to clinical counselling, I have experience conducting corporate wellbeing workshops, employee mental health programs, behavioural screenings, and school-based socio-emotional learning initiatives. I also have research experience and co-authored a publication in the Avishkar Research Journal.
I’m passionate about helping individuals build emotional resilience, improve self-awareness, and create healthier coping mechanisms while promoting mental wellbeing across clinical, corporate, and educational settings.
