Excessive Masturbation And Premature Ejaculation

Is it okay to masturbate daily? Or sometimes more than once in a day? I am male. I have been masturbating since 2011 when I was in class 9th. In between, there was a phase when I used to do it daily. What I have observed is that my timing gradually decreased. Now it's time when I cum within 20-30 seconds even while masturbating. What has happened to my performance? In a year or two, I'll be getting married. It's being so stressful if I would be able to live up to her expectations or not.

It’s completely normal to masturbate daily or even multiple times a day, especially for males. Masturbation is a natural and healthy way to explore your own body and relieve sexual tension. However, experiencing a decrease in timing or premature ejaculation, like you described, can be concerning. It’s essential to understand that there are various factors that can contribute to changes in sexual performance, including stress, anxiety, fatigue, and even certain medical conditions.

The fact that you’ve been masturbating since 2011 suggests that you have a long history of sexual activity, which can sometimes lead to desensitisation or habituation, where your body becomes accustomed to a certain level of stimulation. This can result in decreased time to ejaculation and may impact your sexual performance.

But don’t worry, there are steps you can take to address this concern. Firstly, it might be beneficial to take a break from masturbating for a while to allow your body to reset and regain sensitivity. Additionally, practising techniques such as edging, where you bring yourself close to climax and then pause to delay ejaculation, can help build stamina and control. Incorporating pelvic floor exercises, known as Kegels, into your routine may also improve ejaculatory control.

However, if you find that your premature ejaculation persists or worsens, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional. They can assess your situation and provide personalised advice or treatment options. Remember, sexual performance issues are common and nothing to be ashamed of. Seeking help when needed shows maturity and a commitment to your sexual health and satisfaction.

Masturbating daily or multiple times a day is normal, but experiencing changes in timing or performance can be concerning. It’s essential to understand the factors involved and seek appropriate help if needed.
